After National Energy Summit 2017 with PFCC/Po Ogólnopolskim Szczycie Gospodarczym z udziałem PFCC

Energy for Economy – Economy for Energy – just under this slogan was held on April 25-26, jubilee, fifth edition of the National Energy Summit – OSE Gdańsk 2017. The event was held under the auspices of the Polish-Finnish Chamber of Commerce.

In many thematic debates, energy challenges were discussed in the context of Poland’s economic development and the European Commission’s „winter package”.

The Polish-Finnish Chamber of Commerce was invited to a debate on „Energy cooperation in the Baltic Sea states”. Our Chamber was represented by President Tomasz Orłowicz. The participants were also: Magdalena Pramfelt – President, Polish-Swedish Chamber of Commerce; Maciej Stryjecki – President of the Board, Foundation for Sustainable Energy; Joanna Tobolewicz – Plenipotentiary of the President of Gdansk for Energy, and the moderators of the debate were Herbert Leopold Gabryś – Chairman of the Committee for Climate-Energy Policy, National Chamber of Commerce and prof. Waldemar Kamrat – Gdansk University of Technology.

The main question in the discussions that the moderators put forward was: „Should Baltic Sea States cooperate in the field of energy, or rather focus on their own (national) development strategies?”

All were convinced that the Baltic States should tighten cooperation to deepen regional ties.

The most important element of the debate was the issue of energy security and the acquisition of clean energy by President Orłowicz.

Having analyzed all the arguments, both the speakers and the listeners considered that the energy cooperation of the Baltic Sea states is a direction in which to move in the near future. In addition, the participants referred to solutions effectively implemented in Scandinavian markets and discussed them in the context of Poland’s energy policy.

In. pod patronatem Polsko-Fińskiej Izby Gospodarczej.

Podczas wielu debat tematycznych dyskutowano o wyzwaniach energetyki w kontekście rozwoju gospodarczego Polski i „pakietu zimowego” Komisji Europejskiej.

Polsko- Fińska Izba Gospodarcza została zaproszona do debaty pt.: „Współpraca energetyczna państw basenu Morza Bałtyckiego”. Naszą Izbę reprezentował prezes Tomasz Orłowicz. W dyskusji uczestniczyli również: Magdalena Pramfelt – Prezes, Polsko-Szwedzka Izba Gospodarcza; Maciej Stryjecki – Prezes Zarządu, Fundacja na Rzecz Energetyki Zrównoważonej; Joanna Tobolewicz – Pełnomocnik Prezydenta Gdańska ds. Energetyki, zaś prowadzącymi debatę byli Herbert Leopold Gabryś – Przewodniczący Komitetu ds. Polityki Klimatyczno-Energetycznej, Krajowa Izba Gospodarcza i prof.
